Polli Kimono Tea Light Shade is featured in the July/Aug issue of Inside Out Magazine, in the 100 products under $100. There are lots of cool things, we like the Belle & Boo “Shy” print  and the Memi Designs “Latin Herbal” hotwater bottle cover.

If you find yourself at Venice Beach wondering if there is a good coffee to be had head to Groundwork Coffee Co at 671 Rose Avenue. Then try not to stare at the locals.

While in San Francisco we visited the newly opened roof top garden on SFMOMA. It is a wonderful space with great pieces of many scales. You can wonder around while sipping on a Blue Bottle coffee.

We visited The Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco, this is a great fusion on modern and traditional the building says it all. The gift store has a beautiful range of die cut paper cards and a good Polli story. It is well worth a visit.

The Pegu Club is the place to go for hand crafted cocktails with an attention to detail. Here they infuse the syrups with fresh ingredients, squeeze the lime juice by hand and brew their own ginger beer. A must is the Jamaican Firefly with the house ginger beer and candy ginger slices.

We got a tip off from our NY resident Kate Williams that there is a new espresso bar in NY worth a taste. Being at Abraco felt like being at an espresso bar in Melbourne there were so many Aussie accents, this is reassuring when it comes to coffee in the USA. We weren’t disappointed, you’ll find Abraco at 86 East 7th Street, get a takeaway and head to Tompkins Square Park for some people watching.

While walking through the streets of the Hayes Valley we stumbled on the perfect candy store, Miette. Miette is a delightful organic patisserie shop with old fashioned candy and confectionary from around the world.

Last Friday Polli launched in LA on Abbot Kinney blvd, Venice. We were so happy with the turn out, the beautiful ladies from the new Hollywood, the fantastic support from the Advance family we even had Cameron Daddo come to our party. A big thank you Hugh Hamilton for documenting the event.
